There has been an enormous increase in the volume of its business, a large increase in earnings and a very large increase in expenses. The facts connected with all these changes will be found in the proper place in this book.”
“Besides bringing the history down to the end of the fifty-first fiscal year, the entire book has been revised, some new facts connected with the early days of the road have been developed and all errors that had been discovered have been eliminated and no little historical data have been added to that given in the earlier editions.”
Condition: GOOD
Softcover + Dust Jacket. Dust jacket has some minor tears and chipping, partials seam splits on front and back inner flaps. Softcover has stains in spine and back cover, shelf wear. Front endpapers have some foxing from dust cover; back endpaper and map have some foxing as well. Binding partially unhinged in some pages (mostly at the beginning and end of the book, see photos) but all leaves are complete with no loose pages observed. No markings observed on the pages, minor tear on pp. 195-196. Overall, still a pretty solid copy for its age. For other notable defects/imperfections, please refer to photos.
