This 240 page book contains a description of more than 400 Shortline Railroads in the USA. There is also an Introduction, a section on “Abandoned and Merged Railroads”, a Glossary, and an “Index of Railroads by State”. There are many B&W photos in this book. It’s handy size is 8 1/4 inches wide by 5 inches high. This vintage railroad book will make a nice addition to your collection.Condition: Very Good condition. The covers have minor wear. There is a previous owners name on the first page. Otherwise, the inside pages are in excellent condition. The binding is very tight as though the book was never used. There is no mildew smell and this item comes from a smoke free home.Note: I have more train and trolley books (and videos) listed at this time, so please check the other items I have for sale.
