A selection of USED paper destination carriage labels. They are various sizes and variable quality. Probably dating from the 1980s and 1990s. The details –
The Talisman – King’s Cross to Edinburgh. Ref 21717/34. Has a major damp mark along the top edge. Self moisturising glue panels appear to be intact.
London ? to Stranraer. In pencil on the reverse is the date it was peeled off the window – 24/10/86. The glue panels have been cut-off. Ref number is BR 21717/63. Faded.
The Royal Scot – Ayr to London Euston. Ref BR 21717/55 NT 133. Faded and minor dirt mark visible. The glue panels have been cut-off.
Rhymney Line / Valley Lines, No ref number carried. Glue marks still visible from where it was peeled off the window. In addition, there is a small tear ‘ hole above the ‘M’ of Rhymney
The labels will be folded once and posted in a card stiffened envelope.
