PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THE AGE OF THIS ITEM WHICH WAS USED AS A WORKING DOCUMENT AND CONDITION WILL GENERALLY REFLECT THAT .This item is a cloth Map in covers titled on the front simply ” SCOTLAND ” . Measures 8 ” x 6 ” and inside the Map opens out to 30 ” x 21 ” in 16 panels . Not dated so guessing at 1930 or there abouts . Has in the bottom right hand corner ” Drawn and Complied by C.W.Cocks – Writing by A.E.de Neut – Surveyors Office , Chief Engineers Department , Euston ” . It is at a scale of 1 inch to 11 miles and is colour coded to show LM&SR Lines plus L&NER Lines .In all my years of collecting I have never seen an LMSR Map like this one ??? Was it produced for internal use ???This is an ORIGINAL c1930 Map and NOT a Modern Reprint .Condition…….covers are dirty and water stained with damage top left……..the map has browning and foxing consistent with it’s age…..FULL REFUND IF YOU ARE NOT HAPPY WITH MY DESCRIPTION WHEN RECEIVED . ……………NOW THE BORING BITS………….. I have been collecting Railwayana and Transport related collectables along with Topography for over 30 years and now is the time to whittle it all down .
